Lisa Bow

Cafeteria Manager

Hello!

I am Lisa Bow! My husband’s name is Tony, and my oldest daughter Gabrielle is in 7th grade and my youngest daughter Brooklyn is in 5th grade. I had 9-to-5 job doing accounts payable, but I needed a break from all that and started to volunteer at SSPP. Now I’ve been the cafeteria manager, for the past 5 years. Working here feels like home and is so friendly and became my second family. As a parent, I volunteer as much as I can. Outside of school I’m usually driving my daughters around to the many sports they do. It is crazy at times when there are multiple things going on in a day, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

My Most Memorable Classroom Moment(s)

The most meaningful thing about working at SSPP is getting to connect with the students and the parents that volunteer everyday.

My Hobbies Outside Of School

In 2010, I was in a horror movie, Slime City Massacre, that was filmed in Buffalo. I was also a nine-time contestant on the game show Let’s Make A Deal. The 9th time I was picked to play and won some great prizes. My favorite music group is the New Kids in the Block. I have traveled all over to see them in concert. I have a jewelry business that I run. I love to watch TV, my favorite show is the reality show Big Brother. I to watch and play sports and I coach track.
