Hello!

Coming from over 28 years of teaching in public schools, being at SSPP for the past three years has been a refreshing change! Everyone, from the administration, teachers, and students are friendly, helpful and caring. I love reading and sharing that love with the students. My husband, Jan, and I live in Hamburg with our 3 dogs and 1 cat. I love to read, knit, listen to music and enjoy my 9 grandbabies!! My oldest, Vincenzo, is a student here at SSPP! I love spending time with my family!

My Most Memorable Classroom Moment(s)

Over the years I’ve made many connections with students and their families. Many of these families and I have kept in touch. I love seeing my students grow and become adults with families of their own. One special memory I have is the year we included elementary school “munchkins” in our High School musical of which I was the musical director and pianist. One of my second graders played a Lollypop Kid and went on to be a plate the following year in Beauty and the Beast. When she got to the High School she was in every show we put on. This fall she’s attending Geneseo as a Music Theater major, continuing a dream that started when she was in my classroom. I’ve been so blessed to not only share my love of musicals with her but to watch her grow and stretch her wings. I couldn’t be prouder!

My Hobbies Outside Of School

I’m a real homebody and enjoy spending time with my 4 grown children and 9 grandbabies. We get together most weekends where there’s lots of laughs, food and memories being made. I love to knit and crochet and always have at least one project going all the time. We share our home with Tucker our black lab, and two corgis, Gus and Stella. I like nothing better than being stuck at home during a snowstorm cooking, baking, working on puzzles and reading!
