Buddy Program

We’re all in this together.

Our students learn in so many ways beyond the classroom, and our community is not solely built by faculty and staff. Our students learn from each other, as they play an integral role in forming a strong, lasting school community.

Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and Kindergarten students are paired with a 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student to help foster our younger students’ spirituality, academic, and social skills.

Buddy Benefits

One of our favorite programs at SSPP, our Buddy Program helps both the younger and older buddy:

  • Grow together, spiritually
  • Sharpen their academic and social skills
  • Strengthen our STREAM academies
  • Get involved in the SSPP community
  • Develop into well rounded adults

Through this program, our older buddies learn to become role models, caring for the younger buddies; who’s confidence skyrockets as they interact with someone they can call a mentor.
